Ontario iGaming — the Regulated Online Market
Launched April 4, 2022, Ontario's iGaming market is the only open, competitive, privately-operated regulated online-gambling market in Canada. iGaming Ontario (iGO) conducts and manages it; the AGCO regulates it. These are its headline numbers.

How much regulated play is captured
A key policy goal of Ontario's market was channelization — moving players from unregulated offshore sites onto regulated ones. An AGCO/Ipsos study found 83.7% of Ontario online gamblers played on regulated sites, one of the highest channelization rates of any newly-opened market.
