Player Activity — Accounts & Spend
iGaming Ontario reports player-activity measures each quarter. These describe participation, not individuals — one person may hold several accounts.

What "active account" and "spend" mean
An active player account is one that placed at least one wager during the reporting period. Average monthly spend is gaming revenue (player losses) divided by active accounts — the average amount an account lost per month, not the amount wagered. Both are quarterly measures; iGO does not publish a single annual account total, so we quote the quarter and its date.
Averages hide the tail
An average spend figure blends many low-spend accounts with a small number of very high-spend ones. It is not "typical" spend, and it is one reason responsible-gambling tools and the 19+ rule matter. Help: ConnexOntario 1-866-531-2600.
