About Maple Gaming Index
Maple Gaming Index is an independent, reader-supported resource that tracks the numbers behind Canada's regulated gaming market — with a particular focus on Ontario, the country's first open, competitive internet-gaming market.
What we do
We collect figures that regulators, provincial gaming corporations, and industry bodies already publish — wagering volumes, gaming revenue, operator counts, player-activity measures, and the rules that govern them — and we present them in one place, in plain language, with a link back to every primary source. The goal is simple: make it easy to see how big Canada's legal gaming market is, how fast it is changing, and who oversees it.
What we are not
We are not a casino, a sportsbook, or an affiliate storefront. We do not run games, take bets, accept deposits, or send readers to gambling operators. Nothing on this site is an inducement to gamble, and nothing here is betting, investment, or legal advice. Where we describe how a game or a market works, it is to explain the mathematics and the regulation — not to promote play.
